Why it matters

Quotes sent within hours of an enquiry close at about twice the rate of next-day quotes. Odoo builds and emails a professional PDF in minutes once you have a product to sell.

Your 15-minute practice (in your trial instance)

1. Go to Sales → Products → New and add one service or product with a real name and price.
2. Go to Sales → Orders → Quotations → New, pick the customer from Day 1 and add the product.
3. Add a discount line, then click Send by Email.

You are done when

a quote has gone from draft to sent, and you can see the PDF it generated.
