Why it matters

You cannot sell what you do not know you have. Odoo updates stock automatically as you buy and sell, so the count is right when you need it.

Your 15-minute practice (in your trial instance)

1. Go to Inventory → Products → New and add a physical product with a quantity on hand.
2. Create a sales order for one unit and deliver it.
3. Check the stock level again. It should have dropped by one.

You are done when

you have watched a stock count change because of a sale, without touching it by hand.
